Carbury made it five wins on the bounce with a comprehensive 6-1 win over Strand Celtic at MacSharry Park on Sunday morning.
Jordan Harte and Mark McGoldrick both netted a brace, with Donagh Crowne and Zach Gilligan also getting in on the act.
The game was only seconds old when Carbury went ahead.
The tenacious Donagh Crowne robbed Strand of possession outside the box, with Jordan Harte finding the net with the follow up after the initial shot was saved.
Carbury doubled the lead on eight minutes when Crowne was on hand to slot it into the net after Bradley Fowley’s effort hit the post.
A lovely finish from Harte made it 3-0 after 17 minutes, with McGoldrick adding a Carbury fourth on 22 minutes after a lovely cross from the left from Mark Hannon.
Carbury went into the break leading 4-0, and it could have been more but Strand goalkeeper Ryan McAuley kept out a couple of opportunities.
Three minutes into the second half it was 5-0, with McGoldrick poking in from close range.
Strand did get in on the action in the second half when Conor McKeon’s penalty gave them something to celebrate with 56 minutes gone.
But Carbury weren’t done yet. Crowne picked out Steven Armstrong in a good position then but Armstrong’s shot was saved by McAuley.

With 69 minutes gone, Zach Gilligan made it 6-1 as his free kick from distance evaded the Strand defence and went straight into the net.
Rondinely Antunez squared it for Crowne late on, but again McAuley was equal to it.
The league now takes a break for Christmas, and next up is a huge clash against Catron United in January.
