Raising funds for charity

Carbury FC recently held a match involving current and past players, all in aid of charity.

A big thank you to everyone who turned out to support our fundraiser for the North West Hospice.

It was brilliant to see so many former and current players put on the Carbury jersey for a good cause, and have a bit of craic while we were at it.

We are hugely grateful for everyone who came along, whether it was to play, to manage one of the teams, to referee (thanks to John Feeney), or to support.

A big thank you also to Niall Tierney in the Troubadour Lounge for hosting the after match reception, where the match was analysed for hours.

And thank you to all who bought tickets for the raffle, and to those who donated prizes.

It was a wonderful day to raise money for such an important service in our town, the North West Hospice.
